The Story Behind The Picture
The young teen boy went down to his room which was surrounded by windows and it had an exterior door that lead to the backyard. He laid down on his bed, which had a window above it. After about 5 minutes, which he believed was not enough time for him to fall asleep, he opened his eyes and saw this small dwarf- like person with an ugly face staring at him from outside his window.
The face terrified him and because he knew that it was a demon he was to frightened to look upon its face. The face oozed with evil, it's ugliness was indescribable. Later he could only say that it was the weirdest, scariest, ugliest evil thing he had ever seen. He got up and got a knife and waved it in the window to try to scare it away.
When he looked up, he saw it was gone so he got up and walked outside. Upon doing so, he saw a whole group of them dancing. He was overcome and started trembling, his whole body was shaking, the ground was moving up and down. He collapsed onto it. At that moment, he knew he was conscious and he knew he was dead. He felt his body moving through a dark tunnel, he tried to pull himself out but the force was too strong.
There was a light at the end and he heard peaceful laughing like children laughing. As he was being pulled through the tunnel he prayed "God, please let me live- I'll do anything". When he got to the end of tunnel, he found himself back in bed and there was smoke rising all around him, He looked up and two of the demons were standing at the foot of his bed, staring at him. Then he woke up.
All of his life nothing ever scared him, nothing ever- until this event.
In the days that passed he couldn't quit thinking about it, because it haunted his every thought. He never believed it was a dream- he was certain it was more of a vision He told everyone about it. He became more serious about things, often he was in deep thought. As he explained the experience to his mother, he said "Mom, it wasn't a dream. I was as awake as I am now as I am speaking to you".
Shortly after his experience, he went to church with his family. He went for a lot of reasons- we know that he was frightened by the event-we know that he had been speaking to God, and we know that he was afraid to stay in the house alone.
During the pastor's message he made a particular statement he said "God has laid something on my heart, someone in this congregation is not going to be alive a month from now, I am asking that if you are not right with the Lord you should not delay".
At the Church's invitation service his brother watched the young teen praying quietly to himself. He didn't go forward because he was a very shy, but his head was bowed and his brother believed that he was asking for God's salvation. His brother said he seemed more at peace after that service.
Two months after his dream and two days after the church service, he was tragically killed in an accident in front of the area where he saw the demons in his home. God loved him enough to allow him to be forewarned of where he was destined to go and of whom he would be living with once he got there.
That event changed his life, or at least what was left of it. God gave him the opportunity to change his eternal address and we believe that he did just that. Because he did, I know I will be seeing that young teen boy again.
God gives us life after death and God gives us two choices of what our final destination will be, Heaven or Hell. That's it, two. I believe with all of my heart that my brother Johnny is in Heaven with God because he had a glimpse of the demons of Hell.
The picture on the front was taken on the day that he went to church- the day we believe he made peace with the Lord.
After Church, the family stopped at a store. It had a photo booth. He never liked having his picture taken but on this day he insisted that it had to be done. His brother was standing next to him and begged to be in the pictures with him but Johnny insisted on being the only one in the photograph. After he received the printed copies of the photo his brother asked if he could have one, Johnny replied "Not now I want to hold on to these for people to have in case I die".
As you look at the picture, remember that it is not of a boy who died and went to darkness and to demons but one who lives forever in the light of the Lord, because he made the right decision.
God doesn't give everyone a glimpse of what their final destination is, nor does He always show us that we are about to die.
Johnny was sober, and awake when he got his vision. He wouldn't have been so serious about it if he hadn't been.
