Living Peaceful and Simple Starts with Green Thinking...
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.  2 Corinthians 10:2-6 (NASB)

A Loving Mind-

1 John 2:9-11 (AMP)
9 Whoever says he is in the Light and [yet] hates his brother [Christian, born-again child of God his Father] is in darkness even until now.
10 Whoever loves his brother [believer] abides (lives) in the Light, and in It or in him there is no occasion for stumbling or cause for error or sin.
11 But he who hates (detests, despises) his brother [in Christ] is in darkness and walking (living) in the dark; he is straying and does not perceive or know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

LOVE IS A ACTION VERB.  If you love others you do things for them.  To hate (in the biblical sense) is to do nothing or to turn away.

People love convenient love, love that doesn’t cost them to much time and effort.  We don’t really dislike people we just don’t care enough to help them when they have troubles and problems.

Being a disciple means being kind to others, tenderhearted & forgiving one another (readily & freely) for their weaknesses and shortcomings - Love others as Christ loves us.

In life we must see that it is not happiness that makes us grateful but rather gratefulness that makes us happy.

Do not be Afraid or Agitated John 14:27 27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

Think about what you are thinking about Psalms 119:27 27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on and talk of Your wondrous works.

Be Wise and Disciplined Proverbs 1:3  3 Receive instruction in wise dealing and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, righteousness, justice, and integrity, Proverbs 1:7  7 The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline.

Be you for real -Romans 12:3 3 For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.

I am humble-Proverbs 29:23 23 Pride lands you flat on your face; humility prepares you for honors.

Lying -Proverbs 4:24  24 Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you.

Talking to much—James 1:26 26 If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religious service is worthless (futile, barren).

Thinking &Fear Joshua 1:8-9
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.  9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

No fear -Be Content -Philippians 4:7  7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Judging Others Matthew 7:1-2 1 DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. 2 For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.

Thankful Mind-(Humble)

Allow John MacArthur's words about the truth of the Gospel to humble you.

"God made Jesus sin, He treated Him as if He had committed every sin ever committed by every person who ever believed, when in fact He committed none of them.

Hanging on the cross, He was holy, harmless & undefiled.  Hanging on the cross, He was a spotless Lamb.  He was never for a split second a sinner, He is Holy God on the cross.  But God is treating Him, as if He lived my life.  God punished Jesus for my sin.  Turns right around and treats me as if I had lived His life.

That's the doctrine of Substitution. And on that doctrine turned the whole reformation of the church.  That is the whole heart of the Gospel.  What you get is complete forgiveness, covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ.  When God looks at the cross He sees you, when He looks at you He sees Jesus."

Put that in your mind, you'll get humble quick.

Godly Thoughts- These thoughts are the best ones yet.  When we spend time in the Word and meditate on it -these thoughts have the power to change your life.  Whether you are worshiping, singing, praying or reading and remembering The Word, these types of thoughts have the most powerful effect on our lives.

Simple not OVER- ThoughtsKeep your thoughts Simple- Don’t over think, over reason or get offended.
