Welcome to Westwind Ministries!
LIFE ISN”T FAIR—But God is…
There is nothing you can do about what has already been done– but you can do something about how you respond.
Remember to Believe that God has given you the desires of your heart, now get ready to do something about it.
Don’t give in to fear of the unknown or being adventurous—move past it and follow your heart.
Good times don’t bring the worst
out of us but hard times do.
Avoid Temptation- Romans 8:6
B Healthy 1 Corinthians 6:19 19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,
Solitude for Spiritual Strength -Romans 12:2 2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Balance 1 Peter 5:8 -8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
Simplicity and Balance-1 Corinthians 6:12 12 Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power.
Most people fail their way to success
Safe usually means sameness, But God has created us for diversity & growth..
We can offer no greater worship than to pursue His purpose aggressively.
Loan Free- Proverbs 22:7 7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Give Some -2 Corinthians 9:7 7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].
Peace with God 1 John 1:9 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
Balance and Boundaries -Proverbs 25:28 28 He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.—I operate in self-control and don’t allow my spirit 2 b unruly. I refuse to be like a city that is broken down & without walls. Self control & discipline add protection to my life.
Solitude for Spiritual Strength Proverbs 4:20-22 20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
